Baby Shower Weekend & Preggo Friends!

Today was a busy day.  I hosted a baby shower with 2 of my girlfriends at my home for our friend Suzette.  But before I get started on the shower, I had to share pictures of my adorable preggo friends that are all due in the next few months.

My life has been incredibly busy the last few months as we are gearing up for some amazing arrivals in Arkansas.

Let's start with Serenity.  We had her shower last weekend. She is due in August!

Then there is Suzette.  She is due the 2nd week in September.

But her bestie, our friend Keely is due FIVE days after her...

Then there is Suzette's sister in law!

April is also one of Suzette's good friends & is due in November.

October brings my good friend Kimmie who is also my sister in law's best friend!

Can you believe that they are best friends & are 5 weeks apart?

And finally, Thanksgiving is bringing my nephew!!!

Um, can you say "WOW"!?!?!?!   I'm sort of a busy woman these days & drowning in babies galore.  But, I'm loving it & wouldn't have it any other way.  I'm so excited for the arrivals of each of my friends special babies!

So today was Suzette's baby shower in my home.  I love this girl so much, we are alot alike!

She is doing sort of a safari theme in the nursery so we decided to keep it simple & basic but more classy than anything!

We loved hosting for sweet Suz!

We added these for the centerpiece of the table.

I love small detail of wrapping forks in napkins, it's my favorite thing to do at parties & add's that cute little touch!

This was too cute in the greenery which added the "safari feel".

This matches the baby room so I purchased to put on the table & gave as a little gift.

We wanted something very light since it was Sunday after church at 2.  So we decided to go with a few small sweet treats. 

Since preggo loves her ice, we got Sonic ice & served with sweet tea, punch & water.

She enjoyed opening her presents & getting little boy goodies since she is so use to her sweet girl!

What a great shower she had, we had so much fun!

My sweet cousins & Aunt are in town from Tennesee visiting us for a few days so we went over to my parents tonight for a BBQ on the lake!  They had all been in the lake swimming when I got there!

We all have plans to hit the splash park & the pools tomorrow so I will have some more fun pictures of my family!

Mom made an amazing pasta salad & Dad grilled hamburgers & hot dogs.  I love summer in their home on the lake, perfect!

So what else have we done this weekend?  Honestly, rested besides getting ready for the shower Sunday.  We enjoyed pool evenings with Chad, running errands, & spent our evenings reading lots of books! 

While I was out running errands, I did pick this little goody up, my new FAVORITE!
