Holy Cow!
What a weekend! I have been working hard to plan a party for a dear sweet lady friend of my Mother's who was throwing a huge 80 something graduation party, HOG themed. So much work goes into party planning down to every single little tiny detail! I am sort of a perfectionist when it comes to parties so I want every little thing to be just right with the special touch! I have been so busy for weeks & a friend the other day said, "Where have you been"... it made me giggle because I haven't even realized that I have been missing- but really I have. I just get so in tune with these parties! {love my sweet friends}
First, I am going to go backwards & start with a fun project I did today; cleaning out my closet. It was looking crazy, I couldn't find anything & didn't know I had some of the stuff I pulled of the hangers because they were hidden! So I took things down, re-organized & added some cute touches! I wanted my closet to be fun & colorful so I added just that & color coordinated my clothes then ended with a few touches to the walls for some fun!

Saturday evening was Grayson's 2nd Birthday Bash. It was the most precious party with lots of tractor goodies. My friend Melissa is always great at party planning & has the best little touches that completes every party she plans. I am so proud of her! She is such a sweet friend.

And finally my weekend started with this beautiful party. I truly had a ball doing this with sweet Debbie. She is seriously the greatest client to work with. She was so kind, easy & fun! It helped that my Mom knew her so she was a huge help in coming to assist me to get everything just perfect for their big party day.
I love anything HOG so I added some touches & it turned out just perfect. Since Luke graduated from BHS & was a huge football player there, we incorporated Tiger black/white with his football career throughout, & then added all things HOG because he will be attending the U of A! We had picture books of his HS/football days that his mom made laying around throughout the party for the guests to see.
We spent Sunday evening at the lake having a big cookout with the entire family! Tiff & I had on the same earrings that we adore from one of our favorite stores in town, Perfect Choice. My Mom got them for us for Mother's Day! Sunday nights on the lake equals happiness!
Finally, speaking of parties I am now in full party mode working on Avery's big 3rd Birthday that is next weekend. Call me crazy, I know you will but I have decided to have a very small intimate 3rd Birthday for her with just our family. I love throwing huge parties but really wanted this year to focus in on Avery & only her special day. I get so wrapped up in running around, handling food, making sure my guests are happy, decorating, refilling, sweating.. you name it... that I don't get to just relax & "BE" with her.
...I wanted to take the time this year to breathe & enjoy life. Life isn't always about a party even though I love celebrating & decorating anything I can get my hands on & will still do something cute for her, but won't have any kind of stress that special day. I still know in my heart the true meaning of life & want to reflect on that at times & for this specific time in my life I would really like it to be all about her with all of my attention.
Just 2 more weeks!
