Christmas Decorating Fun!

I have been so busy lately that I haven't even had time to post!!!  So tonight I decided to do several blog posts in a row!  Here is part 1...  Christmas fun! Next up, Hudson- my sweet nephew, & of course, Thanksgiving with the family!

So I have most of the house besides a few little tree's decorated so I thought I would share! I will post more fun decor soon! Promise!

Introducing Hudson!

I have a million pictures but to be honest have been super busy the past few days & spending alot of time with family. So the thought of downloading them onto my blog at this moment exhausts me. So, I wanted to share a few of some pretty awesome pictures that show you a glimpse into my families special day.

The past few days have been some of the most amazing memorable days of my life.  Seeing new life being born into this world is such a blessing.  How can you see this tiny little human & not believe in God?

My Dad said it best when we were talking last week at lunch...  He said, "You know Ashley, all of this is so sweet to my heart, the fact that I had a son, & now my son is having a son".  It just made me also think of our Lord & how He had a son too, who sacrificed His life so freely for our sins.

The most special moment shared between two people that have waited 9 years for their child.  These were the first moments they shared this little slice of heaven!

My brother came out of the room rolling Hudson down the hall & I will just never forget him balling & seeing the love for his new baby!

The love my brother showed for his new little boy was just the most cherished memory I will always share close to my heart!  We all watched as he sat with the nurse during his first bath.

Hudson is healthy & doing great!  Momma has requested no visitors at this time so that she can enjoy this special Holiday with her new little family!  Momma is also great, recovering from her surgery.  She is so happy & doing fabulous nursing!  ROCKSTAR!

A BIG day is coming!

Welcome to my nephew's amazing nursery!  He will be arriving tomorrow...

{I am a hot mess waiting for his arrival & will be in tears ALL DAY}

... tears of joy of course!

My sister in law Tiffany designed this nursery.  She has such good taste & had a dream & made it happen.  She had the same lady that made all the bedding in Avery's nursery, make hers.  She is a local lady in our town & is amazing.  We just love her so much. 

The stripes on the ceiling with the amazing light fixure make the entire nursery. 

A local lady that we love so much who is also a long time friend of my brothers painted the painting above the bed, which also matches the circle patterns in the crib.

Our friend Brenda who is amazing at monogramming did the initials in Hudson's bedding & also made a few other little things for him!

This antique table is one of my favorite pieces in the nursery & adds so much extra storage for his little onesies etc....

I love this area of the room with a special nightgown from our good friend Melissa Stafford.  It's just precious!  This area is so sweet.... I love the Bible verse above the rocker where Tiff will be rocking him to sleep every night!

This chair is a chair my Momma bought for Ave but she never sat in it (imagine that)!  Stinker!  So she gave to Tiff & she had it re-covered by the sweet lady that did all the bedding.  Turned out PERFECT!

I cannot believe it's actually time for my brother & his wife's baby to arrive.  I am just tickled to death & can't wait to hold my sweet nephew in my arms.  These are truly "the days of our lives".  I feel so blessed!

So what all went on the weekend before his arrival?

One of my sweet friend Lane's little boy Judson turned 2!  We enjoyed spending the afternoon at their home celebrating his Birthday.  We love Judson! I get to watch him from time to time & he is just the cutest little thing!  Avery had so much fun playing with all the kids!

After the party it was time to head to the lights on our local square!  They were lighting them up for the first time so we met my sister in law & cousins up there for a fun night!  The little ones had a blast!  Afterwards we enjoyed a nice dinner at On the Border!

How can I forget Friday night!?  My sweet sis Crystal invited us all over for an amazing meal & tree decorating!  Her tree turned out awesome!  I loved all the colors we put into it!

At midnight I went to my sweet friend Amanda's & did her tree!  Whew, 2 tree's in one day!  I was so sore the next day!!! =)

And completely random but the last few days I have been dealing with a little injury! HAHA!  While doing a little decorating I dropped a huge candle stick/candle on my eye & this is the outcome 4 days later!  OUCH! 

Thank goodness for purple make-up! I just add alot to the right eye & it looks smokey! Someone at Starbucks told me they loved my smokey eyes & I about died!!! 

Finally, we lost a local Arkansas Razorback football guy today.  He died of unknown reasons at this time, but passed today & we are just so sad.  Please keep our town & his family in your prayers! 

It truly makes you think about life during circumstances like these & makes you appreciate your every breath.  Wow how life is gone, & then like my new nephew arriving tomorrow, new life is brought into this world.
