Feels like summer!

Today was like summer! It got up to 85 degree's & it was just beautiful out! My morning started bright & early. I got to watch my adorable 7 month old neice today while her Mommy ran a few errands. Avery loves her cousin. They play so sweet together. Stella is just adorable & has such a sweet spirit. I can already see it! They played for awhile & I captured some cute pictures! I couldn't get any of them looking at me or smiling, stinkers- maybe next time!




Noon was the gym. I did a little cardio & decided to skip my class because I am sore & needed a break today. I have been feeling exhausted & just needed a breather; especially before my certification next week. After the gym my friend Alyssa & I went back to her house & hung out in the back yard & enjoyed some sun! We decided to pull Avery around in the wagon so I got some cute pictures of her posing for me.



Our evening has been relaxing. I am loving that the sun is out later so Avery & I enjoyed spending time with Chad while he grilled our dinner. Ave looked so darn cute in her sleeveless outfit, it had a little purse on it! I am so ready for tanks that show her cute arms & chunky little legs!


We are getting Avery's Easter pictures tomorrow! I went by the photographers today to look at the props & they are so cute! She is getting her pics with a real bunny! Can't wait to share the pics!

Tuesday Talk

First, today is my mom's BDAY! She is such a special woman in my life & I don't know where I would be without her guidance into motherhood. Her encouragement & words of advice have been a life saver during this first year of Avery's life! I love her more than words could EVER say. Mom, thank you for becoming one of my best friends & for always being there for me everyday. Happy BDAY to one special Granny!

I loved my Easter table this year. I enjoyed putting it together & placing little things around it. It is so much fun! I thought I would share my Easter decor with all my friends. I am really into pink & green's this year!





We are so excited about Easter! Avery's Easter dress is hanging in her closet & ready for church both Saturday night & Sunday. We are going with my family to an Easter service on Saturday & then to dinner. Sunday we will attend church with Chad's family & then enjoy the day with them.

I can't wait to give Avery her Easter basket & see her with her cousins while finding Easter eggs. My plan is to get a wagon & pull the girls around in it! It's a family tradition with Chad's family to hide the eggs & watch the kids look for them! This year will be extra special since we have Avery & her cousin Stella to watch.

Above all, I think it's most important to remember the meaning of Easter & Jesus' resurrection so that we may all have eternal life. Without Him, I wouldn't have Avery during this special Holiday.

Pink shoes, what else does a girl need?

Someone got some new shoes & is looking MIGHTY cute...


They are the cutest little shoes ever & actually stay on her feet & she can't pull them off! I died when I saw these & had to have them for summer. She was sportin' them so well today.

Speaking of shoes, Avery is at the age where she is starting to pull up on things. I am starting to put shoes on her everyday. So, I have started looking for some cute summer shoes! I haven't purchased a lot of jelly shoes or sandels yet but have seen some cute one's just now hit the stores! Im ready for her little toes to be painted! First are these adorable Mary Jane's. I bought these shoes when Avery was first born & they were just precious but she grew out of them SO quickly. They were actually the first little shoes she really wore. So now I keep them on her board in her room because they were so sweet & special to me. I have been slowly trying to add things that have mean't alot to me over the past year so she will someday be able to look through it with me. My mom made it for her so that makes it even more special!


I am a sucker for zebra! Like you can't tell from the above picture? =) These are my next fav's that I am hoping to purchase before summer that would be cute for church.

My Birthday is coming up this next month & speaking of shoes there is a pair that I am dying to have! They are called, "TOMS". They are so adorably cute & casual but VERY popular in my neck of the woods. My sister in law got the black shimmery ones & I am about to go crazy for these! They are so cute on the casual days & will look so cute with jeans or shorts alongside a cute T!

Jam Packed Week(end)...

WOW, what a crazy few days! My weekend pretty much started Thursday night! I was so tickled when I found out that a blogger friend that I have never met was coming into town to meet several of us girls. Jill is actually good friends with one of my good friends Lane, & they have known each other for years but I had no clue until after I started following her blog!
...It's really a crazy story on how this group of girls met & how we have all circled around to somehow know each other from someone else! I actually followed Jill & my friend Suzette's blogs through their entire pregnancies. I had never met either one of them in my life until we all realized that we knew the same people!

The neat thing about this whole story is that both girls that I had never met before had 2 daughters 5 & 6 days after Avery was born. Avery was the 3rd of June, Emerson the 10th, & Kyah the 9th. I have been around Suz on several occasions over the past few months because she lives here in town. She has become such a good friend. Jill lives in the Midwest so she came down on vacation with her husband & daughter to meet all of us gals! We all enjoyed each others company from Thursday until Saturday & I have been one busy girl!

We started off the weekend early on Thursday night & enjoyed dinner at our friend Danielle's place. She is due to have her 3rd baby in May! It was so fun sitting around & watching all of the babies crawl on the floor & play with each other, FINALLY MEETING!











Friday we enjoyed the beautiful weather & had lunch & went shopping! We looked hilarious walking through the mall with all of our strollers. My sister in law Tiffany joined too so Suzette's neice pushed her around for us in a wheelchair since she still can't walk after surgery! After the mall we met up at Embassy for a glass of wine with the husbands & then headed to Suzette's for Pizza & games! We played catch phrase & just laughed the night away. Of course then we had to say goodbye to Jill. Jill, you are wonderful & someone that is very special to us! Looking forward to our next gathering in her hometown!



























Saturday was a shopping day with my mom & sister in law! We enjoyed some lunch at Guido's Pizza, one of my fav's! We put Avery on this adorable horse while we were out & she had a ball! We enjoyed buying her a few new fun toys! She is starting to out grow her old one's! =(


Finally, Sunday we celebrated my mom's Birthday! We all went to church as a family & then went to Abeulos for lunch! After lunch was cake & ice cream at my brothers house as well as presents! We got mom a Vera Bradly bag she has been wanting! Avery was being a cutie pie today in her adorable smocked outfit that she wore to church so I snapped a million pictures! My mom's BDAY is actually Tuesday but we decided to celebrate today since we have alot of family coming into town this week for Easter. Happy BDAY to the most amazing mother in the world. Thank you for teaching me everything I know about being a mom & for becoming one of my best friends!
