My husband, our life before, our life now!

It's so neat to see how God works in our lives.. I prayed for this perfect little family for so long and it's neat to look back on our journey as husband and wife before Avery...

Our life now...

A few of my FAVORITE things

I wanted to share with my blogger friends a few things that I am loving this season...

First, I am totally into accessories of ANY kind. Anyone that knows me knows that I love HUGE earrings, lots of jewelery, color, and fashion! But, I like it for a good price! So I thought I would share a few of my favorite pieces right now and where I got them!

I love hair accessories. I'm growing my hair out and haven't cut it in over a year! That isn't like me. I always like cute, short, sassy cuts. And I use to be obsessed with change. I would have to have a new color/cut something. I get bored easily. So these hair accessories are not only in for short/long hair, but they give me a "change" on a day I may need a little spunk in my wardrobe. You can get these headbands all HERE, at Forever 21.
I haven't always been a watch person, but when I went to Hawaii last year, Chad and I went into the Juicy Store in Honolulu and I HAD to purchase this. I loved EVERYTHING about it and have worn it tons since. You can't see it, but it has the most adorable little crown in it, which is another one of my favorite things. My best friend adores watches and pretty much collects them, you can check out her cute post here:
I HEART this zebra bracelet. I love zebra for some reason... it use to be very popular and then went out for awhile, but it's coming back in. Animal prints are huge right now... especially leopard print of different colors. I got this huge bracelet at Gordmans for $5.99. Perfect with something as simple as a white tank!
One of my favorite new purchases that I got from an adorable store in Fayetteville called "RIFRAFF" is this necklace. Visit this blog, she is awesome and very talented. I just love and adore her stuff! This necklace is gold and has the cutest yellow flower with a small pearl in the middle. So perfect to layer with long necklaces, and a great color for fall.
Again, zebra! This purchase is from Franchescas. I did a post awhile back on them, but it's one of my favorite stores ever. I can't wait to see what they have lined up for this fall!
Most of my earrings are Forever 21. I am so hard on my earrings and they always tend to break, so I am pretty cheap with them. I don't want anything over $10, ever! I like to have a wide variety for each outfit, so they have to be very affordable. Leaves are really in, I love the turquoise with them, they have been perfect for summer:
On to another obsession I have... TASSELS! I love then. I have them almost everywhere in my home. I think they add such a "touch of class" to everything. It makes something very plain look very classy and expensive. I get most of my tassels at Hobby Lobby 1/2 off for $5. A huge one is $10 and totally worth it!

Have a FANTASTIC weekend!

OUCH!

Ouch is right! Today was Avery's first set of shots! She did great!

I couldn't sleep last night. I was up tossing and turning so worried about today. I just can't stand the fact of my little one hurting. I just dreaded it. I had that knot in my tummy as if I was the one getting the actual shot. She woke me up at 5am hungry and I never went back to sleep. Needless to say, I am pooped today!

On the way to the doctor Avery and I said a prayer out loud in the car. And God answered because she did so well, better than I had expected. She actually fell asleep in the room while we were waiting on the doctor to look at her and give her the shots. Right as the shot went in I heard the saddest cry of my life.. A cry that I have NEVER heard out of her before. About 2 seconds later she was fine and hasn't cried since. She coo'd on the way home, but other than that she has been great! Im not going to lie, I shed a few tears. No fever yet, so I am hoping to just keep her relaxed here at home the rest of the day and that she won't have any symptoms. She's so precious. (Shout out to Em for the cute polo outfit)!!

Waiting with Daddy:
In the "ICE" room with lots of blue and penguins- she loved looking around:
After we got home and she woke up from a nap, we ate lunch and then I played with her on her little mat. She is loving all of her little toys, and music! She just smiled so big, not for the camera though.

If she feels better when Daddy gets home I am off to Jazzercise- Im kind of addicted and feeling SUPER sore today. I just started yesterday and literally by last night I was sore! BAD! Today Im having a hard time walking.. So I know this is going to work. All I know is I can't wait to go back!! I will do a whole other post on that another day!

Just had to share this cute outfit, $4.00 at a consignment shop that I bought last week! Can't wait until fall and she can fit into it!!! Now I need to get her some cute shoes to match!!! What a buy!

"Fancy Pants"- 3 months old!

We are up to all kinds of fun things at the fabulous age of 3 months old!!! Avery is loving the world. She loves to look around with those bright blue eyes, and no longer likes to be held like a baby... ;( It's kinda hard on me. She wants to sit up facing everyone so she can look around. And boy does she look around. Those eyes are just everywhere, noticing every little detail in a room.
Avery has also started finding her voice. She loves to coo and make all kinds of noises. And of course with that comes the spit bubbles! I had a new outfit on her yesterday and it was wet all over the front in seconds! Part of it! I think it's about time I pull out the bibs!

She is in love with her hands and feet. She will stare at them for a long time and try to figure out what is going on with them. She still keeps her hands in a fist but slowy opens them time to time to chew on them. She has found her pointer finger and will suck on that often. She loves to suck on anything that gets in front of her face... and still adores that foofy, (passy).

My girl is the BEST sleeper. She sleeps anywhere from 8-11 hours a night, NOTHING LESS! I literally have had 30 or more blogger friends e-mail me on how I do it! Honestly, it's routine. I have never wanted to be one of those moms that wakes her baby, and I never have... but, I put her on my schedule and she stuck to it from day one! Avery knows night from day, and knows after bath that it's close to bedtime. I have stuck to the same routine, same noises, same lighting, same everything for the last few months! It's worked like a CHARM!

Here are a few pics of my angel from this week, at 3 months old and growing!
