Final pics of June... Day before 1 month old!!!

Alright friends, I am officially 1 month old tomorrow. My mommy has been crying all day and I don't know why... she must be sad that I am growing up WAY too fast. Enjoy some final pics of June, before I am 1 month old tomorrow. I am being dressed in a tutu tomorrow for my pics so come check them out! ;)

Today momma finished my tutu for the 4th of July and mimi made me a fatabulous bow to match and made me a crown onesie to go with! So much fun!

Love,
Avery

I am cross eyed in this picture, hehe!

The month of June

The month of June has been amazing! My fabulous daughter was born and it's been the fastest month of my entire life. It's hard for me to believe that this Wednesday Avery will officially be 1 month old. It seems like yesterday that I was saying I was pregnant! It's just crazy how time flies. It makes me sad how quickly they grow up... Today I had Avery in her little lamb onesie that my best friend got her and it's already getting tight on her. I got teared up while putting her in it this morning thinking this could be the last time she was in that adorable brown and polka dot onesie! They are so darn cute in those onesies!

So this month we have been so busy getting adjusted. If there was one word I could say about having a baby, it's "Adjusting"... It's amazing how you can go from a normal life of you and your husband to a baby in the blink of an eye. I can see how it's hard on some woman, even me at times, because you wake up to something completely different and have this life that you are responsible for and you just worry! I find myself doing the strangest things and thinking to myself, "Wow, I am really a mommy now"... the worry I have, the sleepless nights because I stare at her a BILLION times after I lay her back to sleep. It's nuts! Chad always has to pull me back down to bed and to tell me to stop, that she is fine. It takes us hours, literally, to get anywhere. I have to think about feeding schedules and plan everything out just so. If we have to be somewhere at noon and it's early morning I literally have to plan out how many times I will need to feed before we leave and plan accordingly right before we walk out the door! I have a running list of things in my head to pack in her bag each day and I clean bottles like no one's business. Not to mention changing those diapers... no one ever told me that they potty THAT many times, ha! But let me tell you, I wouldn't change my life now for anything in this world. Having this baby has touched me in so many ways, changed my heart, and made me love life a billion times over again. I love the restless nights (sometimes) and love that every minute of my day is around her. It's my job and I want to do it to the fullest! So on the Avery front, she is starting to move her arms and legs and wiggle a ton. She stares at me alot and I make lots of noises with my mouth and stick my tongue out her often. They say at this stage they really notice those things so I am doing them all the time! I talk to her like a human and tell her every little thing I am doing during the day from "Mommy is changing your stinky diaper" to "Mommy is a hot mess right now and feels like poo poo"- hehe! She's my girl so I want her to know everything even though she isn't taking it in yet. We sing, have tummy time, and just hang out and enjoy life! She loves riding in the car, loves the noise of the hairdryer (white noise), and boy loves her DADDY! She just stares at him, it's the cutest thing. I love looking at her eyes because I see Chad everytime I look at her....

So this last week was full of events! We had Bree's Bash on Friday night. It was a party for one of our friends Rachel that is having her 3rd baby. It was the coolest idea to have a party rather than a shower since it's her 3rd. It was amazing, Tara did the greatest job! Bree's room is in chandeliers, and the walls are turquoise.. the bedding is black and white, and then all accents are red, hot pink, & turquoise! Her dust ruffle on the bed is tool like in tutus. It's just adorable! So the party was decked out in those colors and just so much fun! CONGRATS to Bree, her and Avery will be a few months apart so Rachel and I plan on them being besties!

Avery in her lamb onesie the last time! ;(

Sunday night was the fireworks at the cross at our church. It was amazing to say the least. There were 117 people that were baptized and over 5,000 people there. We got to see so many of our friends and just had a great time! My brother, Tiff, and some of all our friends Tommy & Christa and their sweet kids all went together. We had blankets and chairs and just vegged and hung out for hours until the show began. The fireworks were beautiful, I had chills and almost cried. I am still emotional and hormonal after the baby so I am touched very easily. It was just amazing and touched me so much to see the beauty of the crosses lit up. WOW!

This week is low key until Friday. My parents are having a huge 4th of July bash at their house and it's kind of a post 30th BDAY party for my brother and his wife Tiff too! So we are just having a ton of friends, lots of food, family, fireworks, etc... they live on the lake so they big firework show that is right off from their dock so it's a fun show! We are pumped! Avery's outfit is in the making- can't wait to show you.. I am working hard on it! ;)
Hope everyone has a good rest of the week, I hope to get to post again soon, I have just been one busy momma lately! HUGS!

Fathers Day Weekend

Fathers Day... what a special day! This year was especially special because it was Chad's first Fathers Day with Avery! Sunday was also Avery's first adventure to church and she loved it! She did wonderful and didn't hardly make a peep! I think she enjoyed the loud music and remembers it from when she was in my tummy. Sunday morning before church we woke up and gave Daddy his gift. I painted her feet one day last week and stamped them on a pad for Chad and we framed it with a picture of her. He loved it! He got a cute card from her, and then a card from me... and of course there were teary eyes. Chad is the most amazing father, and husband.

...After church we had lunch with his Mom & Dad and grilled out burgers and dogs. It was so fun to be with the whole family and laugh. The Aunts of course went nuts over their girl, and Mamee was loving every second of holding her little angel. We went down to see Chad's Gma and Papa and they enjoyed holding her close! Then we made our way to my Mom and Dad's and enjoyed a roast, potatoes, and carrots (Dad's request) and strawberry pie for desert! And of course, Mimi, Poppa, Aunt Sassy, and Uncle A had a ball tossing Avery around and holding her!

Saturday was perfect! We got around for the day and took Avery on a picnic. We got Chick Fil A and went to the park. It was beautiful out! We ended up walking the Promenade and shopped, went to car lots, and then ended the day with Aaron and Tiff at Abuelos for dinner. After dinner we all drove around and looked at houses. Aaron and Tiff bought a lot and are going to build a beautiful Country French/Southern Living style home. It's going to be amazing and is in the most serene neighborhood in Rogers near Pinnacle. I can't WAIT for this house to be built, it's going to be beautiful... we are SO happy for them!!

The week looks to be busy for us... Mom is out of school for summer (5 weeks) so we are going to chill. I'm so glad I have her help, it's so nice to have company during the day when I am tired and alone. We have dinner with some friends Wednesday night because our Bible Study leader is going to be working for the FBI and is going away for training for 5 months. Then I have Sushi dinner with the girls Thursday night, and then a party for Miss Bree Leighton who arrives in August on Friday night! So we are resting up until the big events!!! I can hardly wait for this shower/party for Rachel.... it's going to be AMAZING!
Avery is FANTASTIC! The cutest little "toot" and I do mean TOOT! She's a gassy girl! She loves tummy time! One thing we have discovered that is so funny is that when she is upset when we are changing her diaper or clothes, she loves the hair dryer on. This girls loves noise, but we don't want to make it a habit to have it on too much so she doesn't get use to it! We go on with life as normal and do things as we did before and she has adjusted just fine. The sleep is an adjustment for me because I am a girl of 9 hours of sleep... so now that I get 3, sometimes 4- it's tough! But, I couldn't do it without the amazing husband that I have. He helped me ALL weekend, and boy Sunday night he was out like a light! Poor guy! I take Avery during the week, and he helps on the weekend. But, since I breastfeed it's a must that I get up every 3 hours anyway either to feed or pump. So I am up either way.
One last thing- I have decided to be a stay at home mom!!!! Chad and I have been talking about it for months and praying for a way to survive! God is good! We have decided to cut back on some unnecessary things like Internet on the cell phones etc... and we have found a way for me to be a momma! I can't wait. Once I am healed from having Avery, I am going to start making an agenda for what I want to accomplish each day from meals being made for Chad at nights, to play dates, to cleaning days. I want to have it all lined out where I make time to have my work outs and just enjoy spending time with my girl! I'm so excited about my new job as a mom and can't wait for this adventure to finally begin!

Kitchen Queens Picnic Party!

Thursday night was my once a month girls get together for our themed cooking event! We all met up at my friend Rachel's house and enjoyed a nice "picnic" themed dinner. It was delish! Everything was decked out in sea shells, pineapples, etc... and we had fun Hawaiian music playing in the background. It was SO nice to get to see all my girlfriends and catch up. I took Avery for an hour and then Chad picked her up so she didn't have to sit outside and so I could visit with my friends. I brought my friend Melissa and I think she had a ball! I just love Melissa. Afterwards I went to her house for a bit and visited with her and her hubby who I just adore! We look forward to spending more date nights with them!!!

It's now Friday and Miss Diva didn't sleep last night. I was up ALL night so mom is here now and I plan to sleep most of the day if possible. I have a few errands to run so I hope to get that done later on during the day as well. The weekend is going to be nice... Chad and I are going to spend the day with Avery and take her to the farmers market and on some walks! I can't wait!

We are doing really well for the most part... Avery sleeps from 10-2:30 most nights and then I feed between 2:30-4:00. Then she sleeps again most normally until 7ish and then we go back to bed after the 2nd feed of the night. So I am doing okay on sleep unless it's a night like last night. She's had a tummy ache! Poor girl! She's so strong and starting to lift her head up a lot. She also knows her passy and will hold onto it when it's in her mouth. Her little blue eyes are starting to stay opened more often now and she is focusing on me when I feed her. Her favorite thing is being on her tummy. She loves to lay on our chest and snooze! She hates being changed into outfits, hates bath time, and hates her diaper changed. Anything that involves putting her down, she hates! She loves to be held. Of course anything that involves her being undressed and cold, she will cry at. She has a little billy goat cry that is so funny! We need to film it. She's my little angel, that's for sure!!!!

I want to say a special thank you to Daddy. Chad has been amazing through this whole process and doesn't gripe AT ALL! He helps me feed, change, you name it! He is the most amazing husband in the world and I couldn't have done this without him! This Sunday is Fathers Day... how special, his first Fathers Day as a father! We love you Daddy!
