Some Christmas Decor

I have been having so much fun for the past few weeks working on my Christmas Decor & slowly but surely it's coming together. I still have a few touches I am adding throughout the house & to a few of my tree's, but here is a glimpse of it for now. I will post a few later this week of my mantle, it is fun!

We have been working on the outside as well & I have some fun tree's that match my inside decor by the front door. They are spunky! I have a project of working with this massive wreath that is in my garage & going on the outside of the house, but it needs help, IT IS HUGE!!!

In my main living room area...

My purple & silver tree in my breakfast room, something different & I love it!

*I keep adding to the place settings on this table so will share that another day*

Our 1st Thanksgiving with Avery

We enjoyed Thanksgiving so much! Not only because we were with family that we love, but because we were enjoying our first Thanksgiving with our first child. It was very special to me. I get sentimental everytime I think about it because there is something so special about enjoying all the "firsts". My life is so consumed with her, day in & day out & I feel so truly blessed to be home with her each day. I see & learn new things about her daily. Surprisingly, I find new things out about myself as well. I have been growing so strong in so many areas. I have had to learn to juggle many things at once & keep my patience. I think I have done well keeping it together all though when lack of sleep is in the mix, I have those days. I am SO thankful for all of my friends & family that have helped me get through the past 6 months with her. Without the phone calls, lunch dates, play dates, etc.. I think I would have been lost! I have a lot of respect for every mother. Especially those who juggle 3 kids! WOW... one is a challenge in itself. God bless all you mommies! But, at the end of the day I still manage to keep this big smile on my face. I can't hide that I am truly blessed.

And... we did some BLACK FRIDAY preparation . . .

Saturday we enjoyed a nice day at a friend's house for a birthday party! My friend Rachel's daughter had her 6th Birthday Party! It was a Rhinestone Cowgirl party. All the kids rode horses & had SO much fun! They were all dressed in their cowgirl boots & just had a ball.

Claire looked so cute on her special day!

All her girlfriends! Aren't they darling?

Avery enjoyed the party with her boyfriend Cruz...

Can I just say, I AM TIRED!!

Our first Thanksgiving with our baby was so great. We enjoyed it SO much! In fact, I have SO many pics & so many updates that I just don't have the energy, & haven't even wanted to get on the blog the past few days. Not like me... right?

...Well, between preparing for Thanksgiving last week & helping mom clean & cook, dealing with a SLEEPLESS baby, traveling out of town for the day & back to see family, & black Friday sales (yes, I got up at 3am to shop).. I AM POOPED! Chad & I shopped ALL day Friday! Today I went to a Birthday party & then stayed home tonight to finish up more Christmas decor & just relax. I haven't just watched TV in probably 6 months! I found myself clicking & clicking because I was so excited. All while I was getting up tending to Ave. She is just teething, having a cold, & growing spurts again. It's life, I am coping well, but on very low energy. Some days I find myself at dinner saying, "Did I eat lunch?" It's crazy how things can become a blur when you haven't had sleep & your mind is 100% on the baby all day & night. I find myself restless constantly. I feel like I don't even know how to sleep anymore. Im scared to fall asleep because I know I am going to get woken up again. Some weeks are better than others.
... Reminds me, Chad & I watched some home videos the other night of when Avery was 1-3 months old & can I tell you, I don't remember any of it. It's like it wasn't me. I don't remember filming, I don't remember me saying the things I did, or even holding her. I was so overwhelmed & out of my body because of being tired & the newness of a child, that I don't remember!

Here is a pic of my girl who will be 6 months old in 4 days! I can't believe it. I will post ALL the pics from my crazy busy Thanksgiving, & weekend sometime soon. Hope everyone enjoyed their Holiday as much as we enjoyed ours!
