A little prayer

Hello Friends.... I know, I am posting another post in the same day, but my heart is so heavy tonight. I am dealing with some strong emotions after breastfeeding which they say happens. I feel CRAZY again, HA! Very hormonal!!! Crazy how our bodies change. I have been doing a lot of reading on it and I am just trying to take one day at a time. I am so happy all the time, so the up and down's are taking a toll on me.

But also I want to ask that you all pray for my mother. She is okay so please do not worry. But she is going to be having some things done tomorrow and I just pray that God's hands will be over her and that the results will be nothing but perfect, & far from what it could be. I love my mother and praise God for our relationship. She has helped guide me to be the mom I am now today. I don't want to go too deep into the situation...But truly just ask that you pray for my mom.

I also want to add... you never know what people are going through in life... they could be struggling with cancer, a sick family memeber, or even a dying loved one. You shouldn't ever treat someone less than the best and say things that hurt people for no reason. I challenge you all today to think positive and LOVE LIFE! Always be kind to strangers because you never know what life is throwing their way & being rude could truly hurt them. The world is an ugly place. I choose to make mine a happy place so I hope you all will join in and love life as much as I do.

WHY do I blog?

I love my best friend Lindsey. We went to High School together and grew even closer during college. I even moved to Memphis whenever she moved there to experience being on my own. We had a blast together & have memories I will never forget!

So why do I blog? I blog so that I have a journal of my life for my daughter, and also for all the family members that I have that live miles away from us. I blog for those who have never met her so they can see what we are always up to. I hate scrap-booking and this is my way of capturing EVERY memory! After all, they grow way too fast. Another fun reason to blog is exactly the reason I did this post. For my friend Lindsey. I love that she is able to keep up with our everyday life over 300 miles away from me. It's so hard living in separate states but knowing I can get on here and read what she did the day before or even see her fun creativity puts a big smile on my face!

Family Day Shopping!!!

Today was a family day! Chad's Aunt Sydney drove an hour 1/2 from Greenwood to see me & my sister in law Kara, her daughter Stella, & me and Avery! Our cousin Mandy came too!!! We all enjoyed lunch at Mimi's and playing with the babies. Shopping was following, we were looking for Mandy some cute boots!! It was such a lovely day. I am so blessed to have great family through my husbands family... God is good to me... SO GOOD!

This week looks to be busy! My best friend Lindsey is coming into town to see me and go to our friend Kim's wedding on Friday! It's going to be a busy yet eventful week! I can't wait to see everyone!

Our Fall Weekend

Hey Ya'll!! We had a great weekend! Between dinner dates with a few friends and family pictures.. not to mention this AMAZING fall weather, it's been nothing less than perfect. BRR.. it's COLD in Arkansas!

Today was COLD in my town! FREEZING! I was sporting the UGG Boots and an OVERSIZED jacket of sorts today. We had lunch at my gal Amy's house. Me and 6 of my girlfriends got together. It was so nice! On the menu was this amazing chicken salad, a pasta salad, & a fruit salad! It was so great and all of us momma's just sat around and giggled telling funny stories of events that had happened to us over the past few weeks! Thank you Amy for the invite!



Following lunch Avery and I stayed home and then Chad and I went to a football game. One of my great friends from HS's hubby is a football coach at the school I graduated from so I went to the game with Chad and met up with Kate! It was so much fun, and we won! My mother in-law and sister in-law watched Avery while we were on our little date. It was the perfect night!! Im so blessed to have great family that loves to watch my baby girl. So blessed!

Tomorrow are our fall pictures as a family! I can't wait! The tree's are beautiful so I hope for some great pics!

Witches Brew Party

Today was lunch with some blogger friends! We enjoyed a nice lunch at Market Place Grill and had great conversation. I am so blessed to have wonderful girlfriends:


Then tonight was the "Witches Brew" party and boy was it fun! My friend Rachel hosted the party and we all got together with our kiddo's and celebrated! It was a blast to say the least! There are TONS of pics so I will just let you see everything for yourself instead of explaing every WONDERFUL detail!!!!

I made Avery's tutu along with Bree's tutu & Claire's. We also had matching bows made & had a wonderful gal over at Dirty Laundry make our onesie's. This girl is so talented and lives in my town so I think I have her making things for Avery for every event!! Especially the holidays! The girls were just adorable!!! So much fun...
