This weekend we had a "High Tea" themed baby shower for my sister in law's sister, Crystal, & her sweet baby to be "Isabella Katherine"! It was absolutely beautiful & one of my favorite showers that we have ever thrown. I think the fact that it's March & that everything is in bloom, as well as all the tulips that are so beautiful just made the perfect little touches! I can't wait to share the details of this shower! We all worked so hard as a team to make some magic happen.
Im going to start with the main food table. We had everything out on the bar so that our guests could walk through & get their food. We had a huge display of food from chicken salad sandwhiches, pasta salad, cheese trays with crackers, fresh fruit, veggies, cucumber sandwhiches that were cut out by a tulip cookie cutter & quich. It was the perfect menu for a tea setting. We made all the food ourselves. Each placement had a card that matched her invitations, stating the food we prepared. Our main theme was the "trellis" print because this is what the babies room is in, along with some bright fun colors. We used her fabric that will be in the crib on the food table as well as the "wish tree" table.
Our beverage station was too cute. I ordered the straws off line in turquoise, green & pink. All of our labels that are on the cups came from our friend Kim's husbands business. He printed the invitations, the stickers, as well as our wish tree cards. We are lucky to have him in the family!
The trey the cups are in is Southern Living. We use this for almost every event thanks to our friend Kim! We just change the ribbon out & it makes the perfect touch. The napkins are wrapped with forks & they are from Tuesday Morning. They are wrapped with turquoise & pink raffia from Hobby Lobby.
Remember my cupcake stand that I purchased at a yard sale for $3.00? Here it is yet again at another family party! I just painted it & it worked perfect for our pedifores
We served strawberry, chocolate & vanilla pedifores with her initials & tea cups on them.

OMG {I'm screaming}... these cookies! We are SO lucky to have a wonderful girl in our area that is actually a friend of ours through one of my brothers best friends. Holly is so talented & is doing awesome with her business. I am going to do another post with her contact information. She went above & beyond & they were a huge hit! We offered these with tea towards the end of the shower.
We had a tea table set up for our guests that served a warm peach tea. It was just beautiful!
And who can have a tea themed party without some nice soft classical music? We had a pianist which is actually a guy that we new from years ago in high school that played at our church. He is SO talented! I can't wait to attend his concert in May. He played for an hour as each guest arrived. The perfect touch!

I thought this was a cute touch that Tiffany had from my shower years ago. It is so fun that we are able to re-use our fun goodies. Tiff had a great idea to add these & I was so excited!
By the entrance we had a wish tree set up with moss on it. The limbs were sitting in a flower pot filled with oranges & limes covered with moss. Everyone left cute notes for "Ella Kate" (what Mommy will be will call Isabella Katherine).
We had tulips & gerber daisies throughout the shower but they were so beautiful on our wish tree table!
We had an assortment of cookies for tea in a bag for each guest as they left the shower thanking them for coming to Crystal's special day. Crystal's Mother in-law & sister in-law sewed these & they were the perfect touch.
Here is Mommy to be! Isn't she precious? Crystal is very special to me. I have known her for 15 years through my brother & her sister Tiff! Tiffany & my brother have been married now for 10 years. We have all been super close like real sisters & it's so special to me. I always introduce Crystal as a sister in law even though she is really my "sister in laws sister"! They helped with my baby shower & now I get to repay & have both of theirs for them! I feel blessed to have close friends as family!

We each have done each others showers with the help of some other wonderful girls. We did Kim's shower (on the right), in the summer last year, & Tiffany's was in the fall. We are all popping babies out & going down the line with shower! WHEW!

My brother came at the end & it was special to get a picture with me & him & his sweet new baby! I have an out of this world amazing HILARIOUS brother who is my sweetie! He always makes this girl smile!!!
Present time! She got about everything she needed. The hostesses got her the stroller set!
I loved at the end how I caught her looking at her special notes from each guest. I had to sneak a few pictures of her!
We just love throwing showers. It was such a fun time putting things together & spending time with loved ones! Oh & did I mention it was 75 degree's and PERFECT that day?!
