Yesterday before school I was so proud of the shirt Avery wanted to wear, I am partial. HA!
She was so excited before school because I told her when we got home, Aunt Sassy & cousin Hudson would be there to play with us! Once we got home, we all enjoyed decorating cupcakes!
She loves her Aunt Sassy!
We had so much fun playing with icing & sprinkles!
I just adore my nephew!
My sister in law Tiffany looks amazing & has been a wonderful first time Mommy! I am so proud of her!
After cupcake decorating Avery enjoyed rocking her new cousin! I have a feeling someday they will be trouble together!
Nanny came by for a bit & this picture just melted every ounce of my soul. I hope I can be half the Mom she is to me & my brother & our spouses!
I am so thankful for a best friend in a sister in law. She is truly my "sister" although it's through marriage. We are so blessed to now be Mom's together & let our children grow up together. I have aways thought that it's VERY important in families to keep close ties in all aspects of your relationships. My parents made that very clear to me growing up that I was to always take the high road, keep relationship bonds tight, & be the best that I can. I have always been strong & known when to be quiet even when I haven't wanted to. It's not worth a lifetime of emptiness in families & separation for small comments or fights that just aren't necessary! =)
I am so grateful that with both sides of my families, (Chad's & mine), that we all get along & just have fun & enjoy this time on earth together. My goal is to make EVERY MEMORY I can for my little girl. Life should be easy & fun... most of all, HAPPY!
And finally I leave you with some amazing pictures that Tiffany had taken of her sweet new family!
Can you tell Im a proud Auntie?!

Avery and your nephew together are adorable! What a fun time to see them grow up together!
ReplyDeleteBeing an aunt is the next best thing to being a mom. I absolutely love my niece and 2 nephews.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are always so gorgeous. The one of your brother with Hudson over his shoulder is breath-taking!
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to have cousins who are so close, both in age and proximity. My sister-in-law (through marriage) and I have what we like to call stair-stepper cousins and it is Fab-U-Lous! She and I each had girls (now ages 5 & 4)15 months apart and they are as close as sisters. Then we had boys 13 months apart(ages 3 & 2) and they are growing up just as close. As an added bonus we live about 2 miles apart. Sounds like you are similarly blessed!! If you get a chance you should check out my blog. Lorelai and Miller's cousins Sierra and Chase show up on there quite often.
